I would very much like to thank all participating artists in both
Expressions West 2005 & 12th Annual Maritime Art Exhibition for abiding to
the schedule of CAM's shipping & receiving requests that was sent to you
upon notification of your acceptance in the exhibitions. It REALLY, REALLY
helps us - ALOT!

So you will you have some idea of what the 5, mostly part-time staff (I'm
the only 'full-timer' and the youngest at age 49!) and 5 volunteers - all
senior citizens - were able to do in only 4 - that's right - 4 working days!

Strike, package and ship the 91 works of art from the Expressions West 2005
Exhibit, plus the 40 works of art from the Norman Rockwell Exhibit and the
16 works of art from the Norman Lundin Exhibit.

AND unpack (repair 2 works of art) and mount the 70 works of art in the 12th
Annual Maritime Show, the 12 works of art in the Austin Dwyer Exhibit, the
35 works of art in the Bezalel-Levy Exhibit, and the 30 works of art in the
Victor West Exhibit - along with planning the Opening Night Reception for
July 22 AND the July 23d Plein Air/Wet Paint 'paint-out', Seafood BBQ, Wine
Tasting, Art Auction for 200+ people

AT THE SAME TIME - partake in a community-wide effort to greet and feed on
July 21st (that's tonight!) the 250+ crews of the 3 Tall Ships that decided
at the LAST MINUTE to pull into the Coos Bay (CAM is located 2 blocks from
the City Docks, so we are VERY happy they are in port!)

AND AT THE SAME TIME - mount a 30 piece exhibit at the County Fairgrounds
for next week's annual Fair.

AND TO TOP IT OFF - my dog eliminated one of the pesky raccoons that
terrorizes the chickens (Yep, I live outside of City Limits) - so we made an
emergency trip to the vet (Doesha is fine, she's showing everyone her battle
scars!)

So, thank you for shipping your work to us on time, for placing your Art ID#
on ALL sides of your shipping container, for pre-paying for your return
shipment and for remembering the "Hand Delivery" dates.

But the biggest THANKS of all - is for your wonderful works of art!

Regards, MJ  (I'll get some sleep in August!)
