This year the exhibition Committee expanded the show to include all marine artists west of Denver. The show contained 65 pieces. Ivan Kelly from Toledo,Oregon was the featured artist.
Twenty of the thirty-five artists attended the dinner where Mr.Kelly provided a slide show of his works.
On Saturday we all attended a special breakfast at the Casino and then rode the Apache tug under the McCulloch bridge to view the nesting Cormorants on the pilings.
The Coos Bay Art Museum and the Exhibition Committee make this an outstanding event for nine years. Each year is better than the last and it has been confirmed that
Mr. John Stobart
will be present at the August 1 2003 opening.It is also hoped that 8 Featured Artists (from 1995 to 2002) will attend.
In 2003 the show will be open to all Marine artists west of Colorado.
